====== The Vesper Cortex V1 System ======

Released around 2020 from Vesper Marine. The Cortex M1 and H1 handset made up the V1 base system of an All-In-One integrated marine VHF transciever with AIS receive and transmit (AIS Class B Transponder). The hub had all the interfaces, WiFi, GPS, 4G LTE, NMEA 2000, NMEA 0813, a handful of DI/DO/AI/AO and software to make it all work together. This system was the top of the line for recreational boaters and fit into their line of standalone AIS transponders and other RF gadgets.

===== Handsets =====

There are two flavors of Handset H1 and H1P, the former being wired for using ship power (12v nominal cord), and the later being a cradle charged battery unit. Both are almost identical in hardware, presumbably, with the only difference being the larger battery and charging circuit added to the H1P

Both handsets are identical except for their power connection. The H1 is tethered to ship power, while the H1P uses a (larger) battery to power the device when off the charging cradle.

The main board is a System On a Board (SOM) that has all the other system prfririals atached, display, buttons, speaker, mic, battery, charge controller, etc. This is that board.

The device is at least Android 5.1, but probably newer as updates in the past have shown to go deep into the boot loader upgrade logo animation.
